Technical Setup & Integration
Meridian AI Operating System
Pilot's proprietary AI layer, Meridian, automates book closing workflows — transaction ingestion, categorization, and reconciliation — and flags anomalies for human review. It is designed to close books faster and with higher accuracy than manual processes.
Connecting Data Sources
Pilot integrates with common financial stack tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Stripe, Gusto, Brex, Expensify) via OAuth-based connections. Once authorized, data flows automatically into the Pilot platform for categorization and reporting.
Accounting Methods Supported
- Cash and Accrual accounting — Pilot can migrate companies from cash to accrual basis (critical for investor-ready financials and revenue recognition compliance).
- Multi-entity and multi-state support — handles payroll tax filings and compliance paperwork across multiple states.
Reporting & Exports
- Outputs standard GAAP-compliant financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement.
- KPI dashboards track custom metrics (marketing funnel, supply chain, burn rate) configurable per business.
- Investor data room packages can be generated on demand for fundraising due diligence.
No Public API
Pilot does not currently offer a public developer API; all integrations are managed through the Pilot platform's native connectors.
