Technical Setup & Integration
Calendar Integration Motion connects to Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook via OAuth 2.0. Once authenticated, Motion reads and writes calendar events bidirectionally, ensuring tasks scheduled by the AI appear as calendar blocks and are kept in sync with external changes.
Task & Project Model
- Each task has configurable fields:
name,priority(ASAP, High, Medium, Low),deadline,duration,assignee, andproject. - Projects group tasks and support dependencies (task A must complete before task B begins).
- Motion's scheduling engine re-runs automatically whenever the state changes (new task added, meeting scheduled, task completed).
Workspace & Team Management
- Workspaces can contain multiple members; admins manage roles and permissions.
- Workload view shows capacity across team members, allowing managers to spot bottlenecks.
