Authentication Tempus provides secure API access via OAuth 2.0 tokens for biopharma and health system partners. Credentials are provisioned after a partnership agreement is established.

Key API Capabilities

Genomic Report API: Retrieve structured variant-level genomic data (SNVs, CNVs, fusions, TMB, MSI) in HL7 FHIR-compatible or JSON formats.
Clinical Trial Matching API: Submit patient molecular and clinical profiles to receive ranked, eligibility-matched clinical trial recommendations in real time.
Pathology AI API: Access AI model inferences on digital pathology whole-slide images (e.g., tumor cellularity, biomarker prediction).
Data Licensing & Research API: Query the de-identified Tempus clinico-genomic database for retrospective research, cohort building, and biomarker analysis.

EHR & FHIR Integration Tempus supports HL7 FHIR R4 for structured clinical data exchange, enabling integration with major EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner). Lab orders and results can be embedded directly into clinical workflows via SMART on FHIR apps.
