Technical Setup & Configuration

Airtable Integration Pory uses Airtable's API to authenticate and pull data from your bases. Connect via OAuth or API key during the initial setup. You can reference multiple bases and tables within a single portal project — useful for complex relational data structures.

Block-Based Layout System Portals are constructed using modular "Building Blocks" — pre-built UI components (lists, forms, galleries, detail views, etc.) that map directly to Airtable fields. Each block is configured independently, allowing field-level control over what data is surfaced.

Permissions & Access Control Pory supports role-based access control (RBAC) at the portal level. You can define user roles and grant or restrict permissions (read, write, create) per block or view. Authentication for portal users is managed within Pory, keeping external users fully siloed from your Airtable workspace.

Hosting & Deployment Pory portals are fully cloud-hosted on Pory's infrastructure — there is no self-hosting option. Portals are served as responsive web apps. Custom domains may be supported on paid plans. No CI/CD pipeline or build step is needed; changes publish instantly from the editor.
