Langflow is an open-source (MIT License), low-code framework for building agentic and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications. Launched in 2023, it provides a visual drag-and-drop flow builder backed by Python, allowing developers to compose complex AI pipelines without sacrificing programmatic control. Langflow supports all major LLM providers — including OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Mistral, NVIDIA, Ollama, Groq, HuggingFace, Amazon Bedrock, and Perplexity — as well as a broad ecosystem of vector databases and third-party integrations (44+ total, including Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Qdrant, MongoDB, and LangChain). It exposes an API for programmatic access, supports MCP server integration, and can be self-hosted via the OSS distribution or deployed on Langflow's managed cloud platform. With 155,000+ GitHub stars, it is one of the most widely adopted tools in the AI application development space.
