Emergent — Developer Documentation Notes

Emergent's development workflow is entirely prompt-driven, but the platform exposes several integration and export touchpoints relevant to technical users:

GitHub Integration

  • Connect your Emergent workspace to a GitHub repository for version-controlled code output
  • Enables standard branching, pull request, and CI/CD workflows on generated code

Code Export

  • All generated source code is exportable — you receive the raw files, not a compiled or obfuscated artifact
  • Code is described as production-ready, suitable for further manual editing or extension

Self-Hosting

  • Generated applications support self-hosting, allowing deployment to your own infrastructure independent of Emergent's built-in hosting

Built-in Services (managed)

  • Hosting: included within the platform
  • Databases: secure, provisioned automatically as part of app generation
  • APIs: generated and wired as part of the app build

Credit System

  • Platform operations are metered via credits; plan allocations range from 10 (Free) to 750 (Pro) per month
  • Additional credits can be purchased outside of plan limits

Supported Output Types Web apps, mobile apps, SaaS products, dashboards, CRMs, landing pages, and internal tools.

Note: Beyond GitHub, no additional third-party integrations are currently documented in the verified fact sheet.
