Coda is built around a document model where tables are first-class citizens and can reference each other bidirectionally — edits sync everywhere and views are personalized per user. Developers can extend Coda's capabilities through the Pack Studio, a framework for building custom integrations that connect external APIs and services to Coda docs. The platform exposes a public REST API (in beta) for programmatic access to docs, tables, rows, columns, and formulas. Coda AI integrates directly into the doc surface as an AI chat assistant, an inline writing assistant, and an "AI column" feature that runs AI prompts at scale across table rows, enabling structured automation over unstructured data.
