Agno consists of two main products: an open-source Python agent framework (40K+ GitHub stars) and AgentOS, a high-performance stateless runtime for multi-agent systems. AgentOS exposes 50+ REST endpoints via a FastAPI-based, horizontally scalable service covering runs, sessions, memory, knowledge, and traces — all available immediately upon connecting an agent. It supports 30+ model providers through a unified API surface (Chat, Responses, and Interactions APIs) and is compatible with multiple agent frameworks including LangGraph, DSPy, and Claude Agent SDK. Security is first-class, with JWT-based RBAC, per-user/per-request isolation, SSE streaming, audit logs, and human-in-the-loop (HITL) approval flows built into the runtime.
